This is an exceptionally nice vintage sewing pattern for a 1940s ladies day dress. The bust measurement given is 36 and it is Simplicity #2317 copyright 1948. It features 2 views – both with a darted bodice, center back button closure, pleated skirt and a scalloped neckline. View 1 has long sleeves, a ruffled cuff and a dickey insert. View 2 has short, scalloped sleeves.

Measurements: Envelope states Size 18 / Bust 36 This is VINTAGE size 16 and not the same as modern sizes. Please view the photo with the envelope back to determine sizing.

Brand / Label: Simplicity

Condition: This pattern is in excellent condition - unused and uncut. All 15 pattern pieces are present and have been counted. They are still in the original factory folds, but in order to count the pieces, I had to unfold and re-fold. Photos are included showing the original folds before counting. The instruction sheet is included.

The envelope front and back are intact and readable. The top and one side are completely split where the paper folds, but the flap still remains intact.
