This is a stunning and large vintage statement necklace with an Asian oriental theme water dragon done in goldtone metal, signed LG for Louis Giusti. It’s quite unique and, from what I can tell, it is actually rare. I’ve only found one other over several years time.

The centerpiece depicts a large water dragon surrounded by a rectangular frame. The head and body of the water dragon is done in textured goldtone. The feet, or claws, are of polished goldtone and the horns have a spiral design. The dragon is contained within a stylized “frame” that has the appearance of oriental writing on it. The framed dragon is suspended from a unique chain made up of polished and textured links.

Measurements:  The centerpiece measures about 3 ½” wide and 2 ½” high. Each side chain is 9” long, exclusive of the spring ring clasp, for a total length of 21 ½”.

Signed:  It is signed on the back of the dragon with ©LG in an artist’s palette.

Condition:  The condition is excellent/near mint.
