1960s Skirt Vintage Coddington Sportswear LaPorte Indiana NOS Green White Black Medium
This is a hard-to-find deadstock NOS vintage skirt by Coddington Sportswear of LaPorte, Indiana that dates to the late 1950s / early 1960s. The waistband and the 7 ¼” wide bottom band are solid black and the main body of the skirt is a bright green, gray, black, and white print of trees, a bridge, and mountains in the background.
The closure is with a metal zipper and large black plastic button on the waistband.
Unworn, it still has the original hang tag that tells about the fabric – Maidstone Fabrics, Sanforized, Guaranteed Washable Fabric on one side, and the other - A Styled Garment Fashioned from A Maidstone Fabric / Washable / Sanforized / For Permanent Fit / Schwartz-Liebman Textiles, Inc. / Style_____ / Size _____.
NOTE – the second photo shows the skirt worn with a crinoline underneath that is NOT included.
