Silk Kimono Style Robe Jacket Vintage 1950s Bamboo Print Silk Screen Made in Japan
A most alluring vintage1950s kimono style silk robe, featuring an Asian inspired bamboo silk screened print in reds, pinks, and turquoise with handpainted gold accents on the natural cream colored ground. AND – it’s never been worn!
The robe is very well made and fully lined and has a self-fabric large patch pocket on the right front. The sleeves are NOT the elongated type. There is also a matching belt, which is not shown because it is folded and tacked into one of the sleeves.
Label: There is a label that reads “Made in Japan”.
Fabric: The fabric content is unknown but my opinion is that I believe it to be silk doupioni.
Condition: Excellent, near mint condition – does not appear to ever have been worn because the belt is still tacked into the interior of a sleeve.
Will fit most sizes, but please compare the measurements below with a similar item that you own and fits well before placing your order.
