1940s Women’s Suit Vintage Original Gray Gabardine Medium
This is an AUTHENTIC original vintage women’s charcoal gray wool gabardine 2-piece suit dating to the early to mid-1940s.
The jacket features a center front closure with 5 plastic buttons and beautifully tailored buttonholes, a curved yoke, padded shoulders, nipped waist, small peplum, and turn-up cuff sleeves. It is fully lined with rayon crepe. The A-line skirt features TWO metal zipper closures - one at each hip that has an abalone shell button.

Excellent condition. The underarms on the interior ONLY are slightly faded. One of the abalone shell buttons has a couple small chips but is not visible when worn. There are dry cleaner tags still pinned into both pieces, but we still recommend dry cleaning prior to wear since it is not known how long ago the cleaning was done.
