A truly lovely vintage bracelet and earrings set, signed Emmons, this design is called African Queen. Both the earrings and the bracelet are made of antiqued goldtone metal disks decorated with coral color plastic stones at the center, with golden yellow topaz glass accent stones on either side, but the bracelet also includes alternating disks that have jade green color plastic stones at center.

The clip earrings are still on the original flocked Emmons card, showing the design number 2548 and the design name – African Queen.

Both pieces can be seen in the book, “Emmons & Sarah Coventry Jewelry Fashion Show” by Deborah A. Robinson on page 28 and is described as being from the 1970s.  They are also shown in the 1974 brochure on page 37 of the same book.

Measurements:  The bracelet measures 8” long and 1” wide. Each earring is 1” in diameter.

Signed:  All three pieces are signed ©EMMONS

Condition:  All pieces are in excellent condition. The earrings do not appear to have been removed from the card. The fold over clasp on the bracelet is in proper working order. I would also like to point out that the clasp is a slightly brighter color of gold but I have never seen this design with a darker clasp. It appears brighter in the photo shown in the above mentioned book as well and I believe it to be original to the bracelet. Presumably, Emmons did not produce enough that they had the goldtone metal antiqued to match.
