Sarah Coventry Feather Fantasy Vintage Brooch and Earrings Set 1960s
This pretty vintage brooch and clip earrings set by Sarah Coventry is named Feather Fantasy and dates to the 1960s. Both the pin and earrings are book pieces and can be seen on page 31 and 43, respectively in the book, “Sarah Coventry Jewelry” by Kay Oshel.
Graduated size gray-green colored faux pearl beads are set along the spine of the polished and textured silvertone metal feathers in a graceful, wispy design. The colored pearls are a fine example of what once was old is new again – colored pearls are seen everywhere in fine jewelry stores these days!
Measurements: The brooch measures 2 ¾” by about 1 5/8 and the earrings are about 1 ½” high and 1 ¼” wide.
Signed: All three pieces are signed © SARAH COV on the back.
Condition: The set is in excellent condition. There is evidence (seen in photos) of the glue that holds the faux pearls in place yellowing, but is very difficult to see without magnification.
