Sarah Coventry “Moonglow” Pin on Original Card 1950s
An early piece of Sarah Coventry jewelry (pre-1956), the style is called “Moonglow” and is a less commonly found pin, especially one still on the original card. This is an exceptional addition to any Sarah Coventry jewelry collection. This vintage Sarah Coventry pin is quite dainty and pretty. A lustrous, white Lucite moonglow cabochon with a glistening clear rhinestone sits at the center of a graceful swirl of gold tone metal that is decorated with 6 more clear and sparkling rhinestones.
Measurements: The pin measures 1 1/8” in diameter.
Signed: The pin is not marked; it is on its original card and one reference notes that it was shown in the Sarah Coventry Inspirations Pages. I have not removed the pin from the card so as not to damage the card, which is already slightly creased. The card reads 5115 (probably a style number) and “Jewels by Sarah Coventry”.
Condition: Near mint. The pin may never have been removed from the original card. The card is slightly creased and there is no clear, round plastic case that the card and pin would have been in.
