Sarah Coventry Strawberry Festival Brooch Earring Set 1960s Vintage
One of the most well-known and loved designs by Sarah Coventry, “Strawberry Festival” looks good enough to eat! This vintage brooch and earrings set dates to 1966/1967. The brooch is quite large and features beautiful ruby red colored stones in the three strawberry blossoms and two frosted glass strawberries that remind me of juju candies! They are said to have been imported and were exclusive to Sarah Coventry. The earrings are single matching strawberries. The gold tone metal is called “Sarah Sheen”.
These earrings and matching brooch pin are book pieces. The brooch is shown on page 103 of “Emmons & Sarah Coventry Jewelry Fashion Show” by Deborah A. Robinson and page 69 of “Sarah Coventry Jewelry” by Kay Oshel. The earrings are also on page 71 of “Sarah Coventry Jewelry”.
Measurements: Earrings are ¾” wide and 7/8” high. Brooch is about 1 ¾” wide and 2 3/8” high.
Signed: ©SARAHCOV on all three pieces
Conditon: Excellent.
