Joseff of Hollywood Large Cuff Bracelet with Cherubs Vintage 1950s

We are very pleased to offer this magnificent vintage 1950s Joseff of Hollywood Large Russian Gold Cuff Bracelet where the huge center medallion features 4 winged cherubs on a background of leaves, gleaming and brilliant clear rhinestones and faux mabe pearls.
This design was advertised in 1956 in “Jewelers Circular Keystone”, a trade magazine. The ad states that “Limited production makes Jewellery by Joseff available to only a few stores whose discriminating clientele desires the distinctive and dramatic in costume jewellery”, which explains why this bracelet is so hard to find.
Measurements: The bracelet is a bit difficult to measure! The central motif is about 2 ¼”high and 2 ½” wide (top to bottom cherub and left to right cherub). It bends slightly to fit the wrist. The interior measures about 6 1/2" including the 1" opening. I slipped it on and it slips a little bit - my wrist measures exactly 6 1/2" and there is room for movement.

Condition: Excellent condition. All rhinestones are clear, bright and present, as are the faux pearls. The center pearl has a tiny scratch, which can be seen in one of the photos.
