Ladies Suit Dress & Jacket Vintage 1970s Red Sleeveless Shell Medium
This vintage 1970s 2-piece suit that consists of a sleeveless shell dress with a matching belted jacket will quickly become one of your favorite vintage dresses!
The jacket and skirt portion of the dress similar to Donegal tweed in black and white with flecks of red and yellow. (You can see the fabric very well in the photo of the label.) Attached to the a-line skirt is a red jersey sleeveless turtleneck shell.
The red bodice portion is intentionally short-waisted and is only 13 ½” long from the top of the outer edge of the shoulder seam. The natural waist would fall about 2” below this.
The skirt features two inverted box pleats on the front.
The jacket features patch pockets with faux flaps. It does not have a closure, but there is a red belt which matches the shell that threads through it at the waist.
