This is the prettiest little vintage hat from the mid-1950s with a Mr. John Demi Chapeau label. It is black and is decorated with a big black velvet bow, black fabric leaves, and black berries. A black veil is attached. Based on the black leaves and berries, this sweet little hat could well be used for mourning. This is a small, cocktail style hat that sits on top of the head. It has 2 small combs on each side to hold the hat in place.

Measurement: The interior measurement is 17 ¾”.

Label: Mr. John “Demi-Chapeau” New York Paris, also an unreadable union label

Condition: Very Good +++. Very Clean. A couple of the smaller leaves have pulled away from their wire stems and the veil has several small breaks.
