Vintage Napier Charm Bracelet Asian Lanterns 1950s
Now’s the time to add this impressive vintage 1950s Napier Asian lanterns charm bracelet to your wardrobe or collection! It’s substantial and heavy – the charms – Asian lanterns - are quite large and make a pleasing tinkling sound when the bracelet moves.
All 15 charms are present. The bracelet chain is very sturdy, the links are made to have a hammered look, and the rings to the charms are all textured. The charms, representing lanterns, all use goldtone metal findings and some have filigree, some with glass beads in yellow, blue, orange, green, and purple, some faux pearls, and multiple color beads – faux pinkish coral, white, light green.
This uncommon charm bracelet is featured on page 309 of the book, “The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry” by Melinda Lewis.
The bracelet chain measures 8” long. The longest charm is about 2 ½” long, including its signature spring ring clasp.
Signed Napier on the clasp.
In excellent condition. Spring ring works properly and all charms and rings have been thoroughly inspected. There is some minor plating wear to the spring ring, shown in the photos.
